Development Fees
The City of Ripon establishes development fees in relation to the impact (expenses) that the development will have on the city as a whole. These fees help pay for increasing school size and related improvements: increasing police, fire, emergency services; increasing demand for water, and for disposal of sewage and garbage; as well as expanding the general infrastructure.
