City Council Commissions, Boards, Task Forces, and Committees
Every January, the Mayor recommends to the City Council assignments for individual Council Members to serve on various Commissions, Boards, Task Forces, and Committees, which is ratified by the City Council. Typically, the assignment to Commissions, Boards, and Task Forces allows Council Members the opportunity to serve with elected officials from other organizations to discuss important local and regional matters. Agendas and Minutes from these meetings will posted per the City Council Committee Roles and Responsibilities Policy passed by Resolution 22-6 on January 11, 2022.
